It is clear: The response God wants in a crisis is in Joel 2:12-17. God promises in Joel 2:18-32:

If” we fast “then” God’s zeal is released. Blessings & revival?

V 12-14 Turn to God…with fasting…return to God with much confidence for He is: gracious…

merciful, slow to anger, kind, relents from the harm deserved.

V 15-17 Tell more of God’s zeal to release blessings after fasting?

V 18-20 God promises “If” His people fast…”Then” the Lord will be zealous (to release blessings & revival to those who love Him)

V 21-24 (God calls His own to resist fear & rejoice in God’s favor. The painful trials will be overcome by God’s zeal to bless.)

V 25-27 (God’s zeal to bless leads His people to draw near & to know His goodness & wisdom)

V 28-32 (God’s zeal promises a greater outpouring on His own which includes all nations. When done wholeheartedly God’s zeal releases blessings, provision, protection & revival on His own.)

“Lord, enable us to be faithful to pray & fast & to proclaim boldly Your: goodness, severity, truth, mercy, justice, kindness & generosity. Give us 10,000 (Luke 2:36-38) Anna’s who lead many in a fasting lifestyle. Amen”
