Question, Answer & Prayer:
What’s the best way for saints to talk about “what are the vital seeds to sow in sharing the gospel so we can leave the results in the Spirit’s hands?”
Jesus said the “first” & “great” thing in whatever we do is to treat God & others in the most honoring of ways.
We will then share our hearts & discern together insights of how Jesus planted His seeds.
Vital seeds: Jesus died on the cross for all sins. Was buried 3 days. He rose from the dead & reigns in heaven & will return soon to rule over the earth. Believe & confess & be saved.
Jesus was led by the Spirit to tell each detail of God’s word.
He taught: God created the earth, man, woman & all from the beginning in 6 days. Gen 5 & 11 Geneologies tell us the earth is 6,000 yrs old. Noah, the Ark & the global flood. He wasn’t afraid to offend but told us, “the one who teaches & obeys all will be called great in the kingdom (Mt 5:19).”
The devil claims: You don’t need to believe & obey every word of God. Be your own God. Decide which are true.
70% of kids raised in church leave & turn away in their 20s. The reasons cited: If the world is millions of yrs old then Genesis isn’t true, which means death, disease, bloodshed & misery were not caused by man’s sin. God’s world was not created “very good,” & man doesn’t need a redeemer because death was in the world millions of yrs before man was created or sinned. If the world is millions of yrs old then God’s word is not relevant to history or life.
“Father, enable us not to believe in & build on the fallible word of man but to believe in & build on the infallible word of God. Help us to be patient with & love each other in unity so Your Spirit can lead us, as one, to believe & build our lives on the rock. Guide us into all truth. Amen”
