I know my sins are covered by the blood of Jesus but I am restless in my failure. Can I abide in Christ & find peace?
Yes! His blood covers your sins & breaks the power of sin. Jesus abides in the Father by saying: “The Son can do nothing of Himself.” Jesus forgets Himself & identifies with the Father & in the Father’s strength does and says only what is pleasing to the Father. You must say: “I can do nothing of myself.”Forget yourself. Identify with the Spirit & abide in the Spirit’s strength by doing only what is pleasing to the Spirit. A bird is nothing in the light of God’s glory but will find peace & rest by, in God’s strength, singing praise wholeheartedly to God as it was created to do.
The Spirit of Jesus delights in you & in your presence. Forget yourself. Receive, by faith, the fact that He always enjoys being with you. Enjoy His delight in you. Enjoy the love & affection coming from Him. Talk to Him in prayer & in His word. Serve in His strength.
“Lord, enable me to see, by faith, that You’ve done all that I’ll ever need by the power of the blood of the cross. I will forget myself and forget doing things apart from You. My job now is to simply abide in you, enjoy you, follow You & enter into all that’s in Your heart for me. Teach me to: Humble myself under You. Always look to You as the power source I need to trust, obey & enjoy Your word & presence. I want to serve You & others. Restore the church. Reap 2 billion souls. Save all Israel. Amen”
