When proud men oppose God in tragedy & life’s no longer like it was before, even so, He is there. He is a refuge for those who trust Him. He brings mercy & justice: truth, discipline, goodness, wisdom, strength & comfort?

Based on Ps 94:1-23 “O Lord, God of vengeance, won’t You shine? Judge of the earth, repay the proud what they deserve & rise. How long shall the wicked boast with words? They crush Your people, hurting those whom You claim as Your very own: Killing widows, foreigners, they murder fatherless. They say God can’t see or hear as He pays no attention. But can the One who shaped the ear & formed the eye not see & hear? Can the One who disciplines nations also teach? For justice will return to the righteous & the upright in heart will follow it. For the Lord, He knows. If the Lord did not help my soul would be silenced. When I thought my foot slipped Your steadfast love held me up. You cheered my soul & held me up”

“Lord, we cry out to You on behalf of Your people & Your land. Do not destroy it but bring mercy & justice: truth, discipline, goodness, wisdom, strength & comfort. We pray things will become the way You want them to be. We pray, fast & repent for You to glorify Yourself & revive & restore Your people. Amen.”
