Based on Ps 79 “O God, the nations have stolen Your holy land. Jerusalem lies in ruins. Your temple defiled. The bodies of Your servants as food for birds. Blood has flowed like water all around. How long, O Lord, will You, be angry?…Will Your jealousy burn? Pour out Your wrath upon the nations who hate You & proudly refuse to call Your name. Let compassion come & meet with us. Help us, O God. Save us, O God. Help us. For the glory & honor of Your name. Forgive our sins. Hear the groaning of the captive. Show Your power & save the doomed. Show mercy & justice & we Your people praise You & give thanks”
