Ps 63:1-11 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry & thirsty land where there is no water…I have looked for You…to see Your power & Your glory…Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips…praise You…I will bless You…lift up my hands…my soul shall be satisfied…my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips…I remember You on my bed…meditate on You in the night watches…You’ve been my help…in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows….Your right hand upholds me…those who seek my life to destroy it shall go into the lower parts of the earth. They shall fall by the sword…shall be a portion for jackals…the king shall rejoice in God…all who swears by Him shall glory…the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.
“Holy Spirit, help us keep praying for one another. Alert me when I forget to pray for or engage with those who are struggling & need greater understanding in Your purposes for their life. I pray my spiritual family will grow in wisdom & depth of insight from Your word. I pray that they will be filled to the full measure of the Spirit of God with great joy & anticipation. Be merciful Lord & open our hearts to realize all the things You do so we can rejoice, find our shelter in You & sing praises. (Adapted Col 1:9) Amen”
