Question, Answer & Prayer:

I have a question about when the rapture & the return of Jesus occur. When did Jesus say He would return? When did Jesus say He would gather His elect in the rapture?

Jesus most complete & detailed teaching on the end-times is Mt 24. In Mt 24:21 Jesus starts talking about the great tribulation. Jesus says immediately after the tribulation He will return on the clouds with power and will gather together His elect. His words are direct & clear:

Matthew 24:21,29-31 “Then there will be great tribulation…Immediately after the tribulation… Then the Son of Man will appear in heaven…

they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with power…will gather together His elect from the four winds”
