Give verses & prayer to help me “wait for God” in order to grow in patience which is the path to build up: Faith. Humility. Fear of God. Hungering for God’s word?
Lam 3:25-26; Isa 30:18; 40:31; Ps 27:13-14; James 5:7-8 “The Lord is good to those who wait for Him…It’s good that one…wait quietly for the…Lord…Blessed are all who wait for Him…They who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength… I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord…wait for the Lord, be strong…take heart…wait for the Lord… Be patient…til the Lord’s coming…the farmer waits for the…crop…patiently waits for the…rains… be patient…the Lord’s coming is near. Amen”
“Father, have mercy on me. Forgive my impatience. Give me wisdom & fervent desire to grow in waiting for Your initiative, goals & plans instead of doing or saying something prematurely. Steady me to prepare my heart to seek Your face & wait quietly & patiently to discern & follow the Spirit’s voice rather than my own. Guide me to wait & trust Your plan for my life regarding outcomes. Help me to know that
You work all things together for good. I trust You to fulfill Your plan for my life. I rest in Your plans & wait for You. Amen.”
