We fast more until Jesus returns because Jesus said the most difficult time in history is ahead?

Mt 24:21 “Then there’ll be great trouble, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, nor ever shall be”

Fasting increases in the 3 time frames till Jesus returns: 1) The years (now) of the beginning of birth pangs. 2) The years of counterfeit world peace & safety which lead up to the 3) Final 3 1/2 years of great trouble that will be a prelude marking His return?

Biblical reasons to call a fast: Love God, Worship God, Humility, Repent, Trust, Obey, Deliverance, Guidance, Protection, Unity,

Grief, Conquer Temptation & Sin.
