Questions, Answers & Prayer:

Thru self-effort I try to work, control my life & feel satisfied. I feel tired & never restored. Can Jesus lead me to rest & to work?

We learn the Sabbath principle from the way God works & rests:

Gen 2:1 “The 7th day God rested from…His work…He had done”

God works then rests & enjoys the work before He works again.

We trust the Lord Jesus to lead us into work that is good. We are to order our week to do His good work & then stop working so we can rest in Him & trust Him to bless & grace us & the work above what we can do ourselves.

The Sabbath Principle:

Ex 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. 6 days you shall labor & do all your work, but the 7th day…you shall do no work

(But to do good as Jesus defines)

“Lord, enable me to learn the Sabbath principle as You modeled it for us. I rely fully on You in order to work 6/7ths of my time & to rest from work 1/7th of my time. Teach me Spirit, the rhythm of being in work mode then changing into rest mode & waiting on the Lord & then to reset & return back into work mode. Spirit, lead me to rest & wait upon You to grace: me, my work, the results & my rest above what I can do for myself. Amen”
