Does praying for God to fulfill His good purposes for us & to glorify Jesus thru them include: Endure persecution with patience & faith. Be willing to face persecution, knowing you suffer for God’s kingdom. God punishes those who persecute His people?

2 Thess 1:4-8,11-12 “…your patience & faith in all your persecutions & tribulations…you

endure…you may be counted worthy of God’s kingdom, for which you suffer…a righteous thing with God to repay…those who trouble you…pray always… that our God would count you worthy of this calling…fulfill all…of His goodness & the work of faith with power, that the name of…Jesus…be glorified in you”

“Father, we praise You for working all things for a pattern of good to those who love You & who are called according to Your purpose. We trust You to use times of hurt, pain, loss & sorrow to redirect all hearts to long to be closer to & more deeply attached to You. We seek to receive Your wisdom, goodness & strength in the Word & prayer as we talk to & bond deeply with those walking in the flow of the Spirit. Amen”
