What is Ps 116 telling me to do?

Trust in the goodness of God’s nature. Keep your heart ever bonding to Him. Talk to Him & to those He trusts about your life. Thank Him. He will deliver you from death & restore You. Live in His presence & ever praise Him.

Based on Ps 116:1-19 “I love the Lord, because He heard my voice …my prayers…(He listens) to me. I call upon Him as long as I live… Pains of death encircle me… Hell laid hold of me…trouble & sorrow. Then I call upon God’s name: “O Lord…deliver my soul!” God is gracious, righteous & merciful…saves the simple; I am brought low…He saved me. My soul turns to rest as the Lord bountifully deals with me… delivers my soul from death…eyes from tears…feet from a fall. I walk with the Lord. I believe. I speak. I am afflicted…all men are liars. What do I give God for all His goodness toward me? I take salvation’s cup …call upon His name. I pay my vow to God in the presence of all His people. Precious in God’s sight is the death of His saints. I am Your servant…You loosed my bonds. I give thanks…call upon You…pay vows in Your people’s presence. In Your courts…in Jerusalem. Praise the Lord!”

“Lord, enable my heart to move when You talk to me as Your heart moves when I talk to You. I praise You for giving Your Son to die so that I can be delivered from death & be restored. Keep me loyal to love, worship, serve & obey in Your strength. Amen.”
