Help me deal with people who appear genuine but lie, cheat & steal like Laban did to Jacob?

Jacob had to wrestle with God because he still trusted himself to outsmart Laban & Esau. Jacob prevailed because He chose to seek God, alone, face to face for the blessing with his whole heart.

In yielding to do God’s will Jacob channeled his anger into being sincere, honest, humble, bold, creative & productive with God. Only by giving himself entirely to God did Jacob discern, confront & prevail over all lying tongues.

Prov 26:28; 3:5-6; Ps 38:9; 1 Cor 15:57 “A lying tongue hates those crushed by it… Lord, (I express) all my desires before you & (all) my (frustrations) are not hidden from You…Trust in the Lord with all your heart…lean not on your own (mind); In all your ways (defer to) Him…God directs your paths…gives us the victory”

“Lord, I give all to You. I forgive the one hurting me. God, Your sincerity, honesty, boldness & wisdom is precious to me & what I need to be guided by. I stay in touch with my love for Your goodness which fuels my anger at deception & lawlessness. Lead me into victory & peace. Amen”
