“Lord Jesus, thank You that by abiding in You I receive the peace that will keep my heart from being troubled, even as I’m facing the very trouble that You, Yourself, promised I will have in the world. Thank You for overcoming the world & for commanding me to rejoice that You will overcome through me.”

“Enable me to follow & obey You & keep me abiding in You. I believe in God; I believe also in You. I believe You went to die on the cross to prepare a place for me. Because You went, You will come again & receive me to Yourself, so I may be with you forever (John 14:1-3; 16:33) Amen.”
