A reminder to pray, as one, for all; loved ones, believers, local churches, marriages, families, nations, Ukraine, Russia, those in authority & for Israel’s peace.
Questions, Answers & Prayer:
I’m achieving my goals at: work, home, family, success, money, church etc: So, why do I feel weighed down & burned out?
You didn’t just try, you actually met the vital goals by committing to the process of training yourself to develop strategic habits. That’s good.
So why do I feel empty & dry?
There are primary blessings: Seeking & connecting with God’s heart to keep your heart vibrant & strong: & secondary blessings that flow on down.
So, I’ve put the cart of my secondary blessings in front of the horse of my primary blessing & ignored the primary blessing of seeking God’s face to recharge my heart?
Yes. And it happens to most, all, of us many times a year. We lose our first love & take Christ’s love & generosity for granted. We focus more & more on what we do instead of seeking first to know Him better & receiving the strengthening of His goodness.
So, what we do flows out of who we are, a heart clinging to His?
Yes. Commit yourself to being trained by Christ & do His work.
So what’s the path to renewal?
Jesus delights in & enjoys you. He wants to connect & be close.
So, is there a prayer to realign?
“Spirit, forgive me, I’ve neglected You as my source of divine strength, wisdom & goodness that doesn’t fail. Human strength soon fails.”
“Spirit, strengthen my remembrance; that I’m successful not because of what I do but because of who I am in Christ. I’m successful because the One that designed the universe loves me. Help me see & experience Your love for me & strengthen me to feel my love for You flowing back to You.”
“Spirit, strengthen me to make enjoying You & Your word the most important thing:”
"One thing... Behold the beauty of the Lord (Psalm 27:4)"
“Spirit, teach me to love You & to receive Your love with my whole heart & to commit to the training process, led by the Spirit, of developing the strategic habits to love as Jesus loves: Grow in patience, teach-ability, humility, meekness & talking to the Spirit to trust, obey & serve in the, suffering- servant, love of Christ. Amen.”
