A reminder to pray, as one, for all; loved ones, believers, local churches, marriages, families, nations, Ukraine, Russia, those in authority & for Israel’s peace.

I don’t like religious rituals. Is repentance about doing rituals to have your sins forgiven?

Repentance is not an external, religious ritual. It’s a radical, inward attitude, change from self-centered living of doing what you feel is right in your own eyes, to a God-centered life of sincerity, honest confession of sins, & asking God for the grace to trust, obey & grow in patience, humility & God’s love.

What prayer makes the change?

“Father, forgive me, I’m a sinner. Thanks for letting Jesus take my place on the cross. When Christ died, I died. That was my death. I no longer live. Christ lives in me. Jesus died, was buried & was raised back to life on the 3rd day. Lord, I want to give myself totally to You. Teach me what I need & lead me to a faithful believer who’ll guide me to grow in sincerity, honesty, patience, humility, love & being led by the Spirit. Amen.”

“I’ve been crucified with Christ… I no longer live… Christ lives in me (Galatians 2:20).”
