What’s a broken & contrite heart?

It’s a heart broken to the point that it allows God to put it

back together as He desires.

God is the potter, I am the clay.

I can get stuck in a dark place. If I ask, God can remake my heart: To long for & give His love back to Him & others & to walk with Him.

"A broken & a contrite heart...O God, You won't despise Ps 51:17

…To revive the spirit of the humble... & the heart of the contrite (Isa 57:15)… God esteem(s): He who is humble & contrite in spirit, & trembles at My word (Isa 66:2)"

"Jesus, have mercy & create in me a clean heart & renew a steadfast spirit within me. Restore to me the joy of Your Spirit & salvation. In Christ, help me come to You, learn from You & speak before You with sincerity, as a man sent by God & to carry my heart as Jesus, Paul & Job did with a sincere, broken & contrite heart. Amen"
