We rejoice in the sovereign righteous rule of our loving God who commands us to hate both evil & the false gods of our enemies. He delivers us out of the arrogant, murderous, unjust hands of our enemies & burns them up: Even as He commands us to love, forgive, bless, do good & pray for our enemies so they’ll turn off the arrogant, immature, pretenders path & instead follow the humble path of Jesus?

Based on Ps 97:1-12; Mt 5:44-48

“Clouds & thick darkness surround Him. Righteous & just is His foundation. Fire, it goes out before Him consuming foes. His lightning lights up the world the earth sees & trembles. Like wax, mountains melt before Him. The Lord of all the earth is proclaimed in heaven. The people will see His glory. Idol worshippers will all be shamed. Worship God alone. Renounce all false gods. You, Lord, are most high, over the earth & all other gods. Those who trust in God: Hate evil! God protects & delivers His people from wicked hands. Invite your enemies to repent & become gentle & teachable. Joy shines on the faithful. They’ll be glad in the Lord & give thanks to His name”
