Question, Answers & Prayer:
God’s mercy triumphs over judgment if His rebellious people will follow a remnant led by shepherds after God’s own heart including “Annas” serving God in a lifestyle of prayer, worship, fasting & boldly speaking Christ?
Based on Ps 78:1-72 “Oh, people, listen, incline your ear to the teaching…mysteries…Things we have heard… parables our fathers told. We won’t hide them…let the children hear. God divided the sea…let us pass thru… He led: In the day by cloud. With fire in the night. He split the rock…so we could drink water…Opened the skies…poured down bread & meat to eat…satisfied hunger. In spite of all of this, we sinned, we sinned…rebelled again…sinned. He made the river blood…sent swarms to devour..Hail to destroy He let loose His anger…the path made from death…Struck down Egypt’s firstborn…He led His people out…In spite of all of this, we sinned…So full of wrath, God rose. Against His own laid low. The strong men fell. God delivered up His glory into fire all consuming…but then the Lord full of mercy: His anger was restrained…He remembered His shepherds according to His heart…full of mercy with pure hearts, gentle & bold, hands. He remembered them again. Amen”
“Lord, You chose David, Your servant…took him from the sheepfolds…to shepherd Jacob, God’s people…Israel His inheritance…he shepherded them according to his gentle & humble heart & hands. Amen”
