God gives fasting as a gift for us?

Fasting is a gift. If embraced with a heart of faith & humility it will replace your emotional bond with food with a greater bond of emotional love & peace for Jesus.

We fast & set aside things we enjoy in order to love Him more?

Ps 35:13; Mt 18:4; James 4:10

I humble my soul with fasting… whoever humbles himself as this child is greatest in the kingdom…

Humble (self)…He will lift you up
