Questions, Answers & Prayer:

Jesus said “pride” occurs as an inner, sinful motivation in the heart then outwardly as a sinful action. Human pride rejects Christlike humility & says: “I will make myself like God.” The inner heart chooses a wrong motive by becoming proud then corrupts by an outward action to rebel: lying, cheating & stealing & all sin?

Isa 14:14; Eze 28:17; Gen 3:5,8

“I’ll make myself like God”…Your heart became proud…you corrupt (yourself)…you’ll be like God…Adam & Eve hid themselves”

“Lord, thank You for Your plan for me to reject pride & be gentle & humble of heart toward You. You created me to have a deep relational bond with You. You gave me a spirit to enable me to depend on You for strength & guidance so I can enjoy the relationship with You that I was originally designed for & that I want with my whole heart. I confess my sins of pride & rebelling against Your plans to prosper me & give me hope & a future. In Romans 2:4 you say, “It’s the kindness of God that leads to repentance.” I choose to hunger & thirst for You, to follow You & to please You in all I do. Enable me to be faithful & obedient all my days. Amen”
